FORD MCKEOWN LAROSE

Ford is a Montreal choreographer of Haitian descent specializing in street dance. He is recognized for his unique approach to Boogaloo/Popping. Proud of his african roots, each of his steps reflects the rich heritage that inhabit him. Through his choreographic adventure, he aims to set in motion the multiple universes that animate his imagination.

Ford McKeown Larose will present Endiablée on September 16 at 12 pm.

MONA EL HUSSEINI
Accompanied by the musician Olivia Tapiero

Mona El Husseini is an egyptian-canadian contemporary dance artist, choreographer, and teacher based in Montreal. In her creative process, Mona goes beyond the dance and traces the thread that weaves the artforms she practices including Martial Arts, painting, and writing. In un-layering questions of personal identity and heritage, Mona is interested in how stories are transmitted, shared, and told through the body across generations.

Mona El Husseini will present Intervention on September 23 at 12 pm.

ARTCH is the place to be for emerging contemporary art in Montreal. The festival highlights emerging artists of all artistic backgrounds. The vocation of the festival is to identify, train and create a career springboard for emerging professional artists.
