Native of Greece, Christina Mertzani graduated from the Athens State School of Dance in 2004. She worked as a performer with several artists such as Johannes Wieland, Stella Zannou, Kostandin Mixos and Helder Seabra. She is a founding member of the Company free fall. In the last 15 years, she has been teaching master classes and workshops for dancers in different places in Europe and Asia.
Her class will focus on technique and performance of movement to open your senses, communicate through movement and gain more satisfaction through your dancing. Simple exercises will allow to approach the floor with safety and speed, to move rapidly and with agility. Then you will work with complex movement and the ways you can present it to the audience.

GUIDELINES
- Registration and payment must be done by email on the eve of each class/workshop before 5 pm (Montréal time) (paiement via PayPal or interac e-Transfer [in Canada only]);
- Registration priority will go the participants that are eligible to the measure of MFOR-Entreprise, volet Arts & Culture (Canadian citizens or permanent residents in Canada and currently residing in Québec);
- For participants not eligible to the measure of MFOR-Entreprise, volet Arts & Culture, a registration confirmation will be sent after 5 pm on the eve of the class/workshop;
- Fees are $6 /virtual class and $9 /virtual workshop. If you are not eligible to the measure of MFOR-Entreprise, volet Arts & Culture, fees are $15 /class and $22.50 /workshop;
- The participants must join the Zoom meeting 15 minutes before the class/workshop;
- The participants must prepare a space of 8’ x 8’ (2.5 m x 2.5 m);
- No refund without a prior notice of withdrawal;
- Please note that the CNESST does not cover accidents during virtual classes.
