inPRACTICAL [partner identification]

This workshop primarily focuses on the dancer's relationship with the ground and the air. The class utilizes simple movement patterns that involve breath, speed, and the release of energy throughout the body to activate the connection between the center and the joints.

The workshop begins with invigorating games for the body and mind, fostering a connection to the environment and others. Performers will then explore short movement exercises centered around spirals, weight control, and spatial movement with speed and precision. Relational aspects such as trust, weight, instinct, and awareness will also be addressed, along with partner work. Participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas and discover their unique movement qualities.
