CHANGE OF PROGRAM
We are very sorry to announce that for reasons out of our control, Omri Drumlevich will not be able to travel to Montreal next week, as scheduled. The Gaga master classes will still take place and will be offered by Laura Toma (Monday, Wednesday ans Friday) and James Viveiros (Tuesday and Thursday).
Gaga
This Gaga class is composed of a series of physical tasks, performed in continuous improvised movement. The research concerns different elements such as texture, speed, effort, pleasure, stretch, the passion to move, groove and many more, in order to improve the abilities of the body. Gaga helps gaining physical awareness of the possibilities for movement, even on a molecular level, which will make the dancers more available to use this at all times in order to better use different technics and achieve higher level of execution and performance.
Omri Drumlevich was born in Israel, in 1992. He danced with Mehola Jerusalem and studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. He joined Batsheva – The Young Ensemble in 2010 and then Batsheva Dance Company. For some years now, he has taught Gaga around the world.
