The focus of the class is mainly on improvisation and composition. It builds from a simple warm up developing into a perpetual motion, building  fluidity, redirecting movement and composing the body in space.

Since moving to Brussels from South Africa, Moya Michael has been an active contributor in the performing arts ecosystem in Belgium. She studied at P.A.R.T.S., after which she spent 5 years as a founding member of the Akram Khan Company. She then worked with Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker and Rosas, where she performed in many original creations. She was a dancer in Babel(words), a creation by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Damien Jalet, and collaborated with Faustin Linyekula on his creation of a solo, The Dialogue Series IV: Moya. She carried out several choreographic commands, which led her to work in India, China, Germany, South Africa and Austria.
