May 4 – 8, 2020 | 10 am – 12 pm

After being a dancer in Europe, Rasmus Ölme founded his company REFUG in Sweden in 2001. He produced more than 10 pieces and toured through Europe. In 2014, Rasmus received his PhD in choreography at the University of the Arts, in Stockholm. The year after, he takes the direction of the program of Dance and Choreography at the Danish National School of Performing Arts.

His class will investigate kinesthetic sensation as tactile experience, which includes the interplay between moving/touching and being moved/touched. The participants will experiment the catch-phrase EverythingEverywhereAllTheTime as a full body sensation while moving. Finally, they will focus on interplay between attention and movement and will question the supposedly immaterial and ephemeral nature of movement.
