Elie-Anne Ross, a dancer specializing in popping since 2006, was mentored by the pioneers of this discipline in Montreal: Fon DeVueno-Powell, HitmasterFish and Handy Yacinthe. She has distinguished herself in national and international battles and joined the Symbiotic Monsters crew in 2017. As a performer, she has collaborated with various companies, including Ebnflōh. She puts her many talents to good use as co-director of the JOAT festival and choreographer-performer of the piece FLUX.
Inspired by her "Beginner's Mindset" program, this class focuses on the basics of popping, working on footwork, weight transfer and body relaxation for better integration of the technique. Elie-Anne will focus on drillz/repetitive exercises, fundamentals, body awareness and creativity. This class offers a balance between technical discipline and artistic expression, allowing you to flourish in the style of popping.
