For over thirty years, Danièle Desnoyers has been developing works in which movement, music, sound, and space resonate together. A key figure in Canadian dance, she has presented her creations on numerous stages in Canada and Europe, establishing a sensitive and demanding signature. Her career is marked by collaborations with some of the most notable performers and artists of the Montreal scene, fostering a constant dialogue between her approach and the plurality of voices that shape it.

Founder and Artistic Director of Le Carré des Lombes, she has also led off-stage projects, such as the Les Scénographies-Paysages cycle, created in natural environments, as well as commissioned choreography for international companies. A committed educator, she teaches at the Dance Department of the Université du Québec à Montréal and develops research frameworks for creators and performers.
