For more than thirty years, Louise Bédard has intertwined her career as a performer with that of a choreographer. After joining Groupe Nouvelle Aire, where she studied and gained her first professional dance experience, she collaborated on creations by several Montreal-based choreographers and artists.
Recognized for her intensity on stage and her ability to engage with the choreographic universe of creators with commitment and passion, she received the Jacqueline-Lemieux Prize from the Canada Council for the Arts in 1983.
