Technique Class

This class offers a physical and creative workout, combining games, athletic effort and guided improvisation. It develops cardiovascular endurance, muscle tone, floor support and quadruped mobility. Emphasis is placed on power, motor control of the shoulder girdle, fluidity of inversions and small acrobatics. Particular attention is paid to the center, the circulation of energy in space and the search for personal dynamics.

Louise Michel Jackson (QC) has collaborated with Dana Gingras, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Rubberbandance, Adam Kinner, Hanako Hoshimi-Caines, Frederick Gravel, Simon Portigal, among others. She created SHUDDER with Ben Fury in 2017 (CharleroiDanse, Tangente, Palais de Tokyo, Lausanne Festival) and Bright Worms with Magali Babin (La Chapelle 2021, Offta 2023). She passes on her experience by encouraging autonomy, collectivity, attentiveness and critical thinking.
