Sita Ostheimer

Workshop

Complex Simplicity

This workshop explores the balance between instinct and precision, where intuitive movement meets refined technique. Designed for professional dancers and advanced students, it deepens artistic awareness while strengthening clarity, efficiency, and presence.

Each day begins with Sita’s signature improvisation practices, focusing on releasing tension, expanding physical awareness, and discovering authentic, grounded expression. Participants then move into choreography, examining how individuality can exist within set material.

Throughout the week, dancers build a phrase integrating complex rhythms, varied textures, and dynamic physicality—cultivating both creative freedom and technical precision while reinforcing artistic voice and professional growth.
